Game forces monitor into a really dim mode
Game forces monitor into a really dim mode but resorts back to normal when exiting game. Is there an in game option for this? Ive tried all resolutions

Once in the game you can disable that from the settings. It was happening to me too, the monitor would automatically go into HDR. Go to Options -> Video -> HDR and set it to Off.
Also I would recommend not enabling DX12 rendered (option above HDR) and disabling from the Ubisoft Connect settings the Ubisoft Overlay so that there are no crashes.

Im having that issue randomly from time to time. The only solution for me is try to restart the pc...

I had this problem and no restart or changing the HDR settings did anything. For me it was an issue with the Nvidia drivers. I updated to the latest version (536.67) and the issue got resolved with that. Hope this helps.

Still happening in 2025 but this worked for me
