Why all the hate?
What's up with all these hate posts? Is the game really that bad?

The hatred is just disguised anger - anger because their own lives are so miserable.

You seem to also be angry, you are lashing out and attacking people by judging their lives when you literally have no idea of the reality.

I mean people are still playing Division 1 years after the final content patch dropped.
Division 1 is also light years better than Division 2.

In Div 1 you get dropped into NYC as the city is dying. Everything is against you, even the weather. The locals are desperate, the gangs brutal. The game establishes Keener as a smart opponent who's always several steps ahead, and you get to see his past, what turned him into what he is now.

In Div2 you're in DC, which is not as iconic a location as NYC, the winter is over, you're in summer, and the story is stupid. Keener is turned into a mustache twirling cartoon villain who is easily dispatched, and Lau from Div 1, yeah... Let's just say nothing you did in Div 1 in NYC means anything. They threw it all out the window.

Don't try going into psychology, you'd be awful at it.

While yes it's late, They plan a whole new 11 seasons after this last one with year 5.
And revealed they are adding a survival roguelike mode this year as well.
Hyped as hell, but also hopeful this release will freshen up the community a bit.

When warning fellow gamers about a defective software and thus trying to help them save their money because a product (this product) is flawed now is called hate.

What a time to be alive, right?

I've played over 800 hours and I don't remember having any problems. I strongly recommend this game, there is so much in it that the game will captivate you for many hundreds of hours.
Ignore these false posts of losers, the game is beautiful. I'm waiting for the start of sales to add a copy to my Steam.

I wonder if it can be a case of people having wooden PCs/old drivers/bunch of other crap that happens to cause issues with Division 2? Still does not justify crashes but it sounds quite strange to me that Massive would try to sell a broken game years after initial launch, if it is as broken as some people say..

what are the issues?

Please use common sense. The game has been on sale for many years. It's just added to another store. If for every game that was handed out in the EGC to hang the label of ♥♥♥♥ looks stupid and ridiculous. There are no perfect modern games, all have technical problems. So if you don't have it, buy it and enjoy.

This game will crash randomly with no clear fix on PC. I remember quitting on a day where I crashed 5 times, that was the last straw for me. I reckon once they fix that, things should turn around. Until then, this is not a good game because it isn't a reliable game.

Waw, I've just see the comments, a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ !

I didnt have any issue playing the game, I have a rtx3080, ryzen 5, 16go ram, a pretty solid PC so every thing was ok.

Technicaly the game is pretty good, for the graphism too, it's one of the best looking game i've ever played. The amount of details in the world, the customisation possibility etc... it'es pretty good.

BUT

The end game content is a mess.

You are going to make over and over the same boring missions (because there is not a lot of variety) in order to grind some useless things...

The PvP is aweful, the game is not designed for it. Some active players are running broken build that require +500h to grind, you just cant kill them.

The game is pretty good if you want to discover it, make a first run. But trust me, you wont stay on it. You'll play maybe 30-40h and then... bye bye.

Imagine, on a game like this when you see the population stats, only 600-800 players are playing it ? So good luck to find people doing the missions at low level etc...

At the launch of the game, it was very good... but now, it's just dead.

It's not about the game, ubisoft or the bugs.

It's the generation behind the games like this. Everyone wants to prove to you how great they are, how they know everything better and that their pc has the longest c0ck.

It's like going to a houseparty at 16, with way too much alcohol, too many boys but way too few girls...

I feel that if a game gives me 50-60 hours of fun, that's more than enough to justify a price-tag of like 25-30 euros (hopefully the price on Steam will be the same as their own launcher). I am not really looking for a game that will be my main game for the next year(s). Just something I can have fun in for a month or two at least.

But we will see when they reveal the price tonight, hopefully it will match their own ubisoft store prices...

its a very pretty game, gameplay is fun and plenty of differnet ways to play without feeling left behind, but that can also mean alot of things to learn. Not too grindy or difficult once you master your playstyle.
