If you have the base game via the Ubisoft Launcher, then you would need to buy the DLC on that same platform, where you have that base game.

You're only able to access the DLC on Steam, if you already own the base game + DLC via Ubisoft.

I do believe that the expansion for Division 2 is also on sale on the Ubisoft Launcher, so you have nothing to worry about.

As far as i know, you can't buy a DLC on Steam without owning the base game on it as well.
So you'd have to buy both base game + DLC here on Steam.
Idk about that. Are you able to put the dlc in the Steam cart?

The opposite is true that if you purchased the game on Steam you can play it on Ubisoft without launching Steam - but probably not the other way around.

I got the trial version on Ubisoft first. Then I bought the Steam version. Instead of redownloading the game, I just move the Ubisoft version file to Steam apps and Steam will discover and verify. When Ubisoft opens on first Steam launch and wants to download again I just click "change location" and direct it to Steam apps.

The reason for this is that Epic Games Launcher and Steam are just hosting Ubisoft Connect which is needed for both to actually launch the game. If you purchase a Ubisoft game on either Steam or Epic, you also receive a Uplay key for it which can even be installed independently and bypass Steam or Epic completely.

I don't see why not. I already had the base game + all the DLC on uplay from years back. I just now bought the base game on steam for $9, and when I launched the game all of my DLC from uplay worked. It obviously shows I don't own it on steam, but since the whole game runs through uplay it doesn't matter.
