Question on clans (4 player requirement)

Myself and 2 others want to create a clan, but we don't have a 4th (and we don't really want any more than just the 3 of us)

Do you need to have a minimum of 4 players at all times for clan progression to be enabled?
Or can you create a clan and boot out the 4th but keep progression going with the remaining 3 players?

Yes you need a minimum of 4 players.

No, if you remove the 4th, the progression stuff would then be turned offline.

Do you guys still need someone? I have the same problem as I want to play only with my brother, but we are missing 2 people. Usually I am playing alone and Sheparding other players and minding my own business.
Give me a reply if you would like to join me (and maybe my brother). I won't interefere with you guys :)

Oh btw I have like 200 hours in my ubisoft stats, so I am not a TD2 Beginner.
