Beginners guide/tips!
After over 10 hours, I think a little noobie guide might REALLY help people.

Characters: their quality is so vital! (common, rare, epic.)
Quality effects so much and im sure there's stuff im still missing.

Common: gets 1 combo tag, can get to level 3 at MAX
Rare: gets 2 combo tags, level 5 at MAX
Epic: gets all 3 tags, Max level 6

The main reason quality becomes to important is because at level 3 you get a good power boost, at 6 you get their "best" upgrade making your character the strongest as possible. Quality also effects the amount of combo tags you get, more combos make you stronger and can really alter how you use a character.

There seems to be a bit of confusion about how "ultimates" work. if you've ever played League Of Legends TFT mode, it's basically the same. Meaning if the number is 8, they need to attack or be attacked a total of 8 times. There is no actual cooldown other than how fast you attack or how often you're attacked.

Nodes were personally my biggest flop when I started. But after some realization, they're awesome. Once you land on a node you are able to purchase those upgrades that become permanent, through the rest of your plays, you don't even need to "land" on them to activate them games later.

When you die/lose, you don't lose your Wood, Stone and Magic!

Finding a good healer, tank, damage combo is super important. I've definitely had a few bad starts when I just started playing and got stomped my first few battles which was demoralizing but after realizing all of the above, this game is a lot of fun and looks beyond promising.

Excellent quick guide SkylarkX. Could you change the title to Beginners Guide or Beginner Tips and I'll pin it. I'm sure it will be helpful to others. :)

Done and done. Working on a google docs spreadsheet. Will take some time unless I get details from you folks to speed the process up. <3

At first, I tried to assemble a balanced group, similar to other games. However, the first time I defeated the fourth boss with a group of three tanks and three healers.
P.S.
The guy with the halberd is very strong, when assembled for "damage", and can stun. :steamhappy:

My first C4 kill I wasn't even expecting it and I forgot to see who was doing all the damage and healing lol, but there's a few REALLY heavy hitters for a team for sure!

I don't have exact numbers but perhaps you'll want to state quality also affects base stats such as HP, Armor, Base Attack/Ability/Ultimate Damage (I think it's around 50% increase comparing Common to Epic).

The halberd hero is def. one who scales very well if you can find an epic one early and focus on leveling him up to get +2 armor per kill then 20% armor added as attack.
