So... About the Escape Pod Ending?
Is it a bug or what? Because the fact that the narrator says nothing else for the duration of that ending makes it seem like it is. Will the devs fix it? Because I'm super curious as to how that one plays out...

It seems unfinished to me, so maybe the devs thought it couldn't be triggered and forgot about it...

That's what I'm thinking, because they must not have intended you to be able to back out of the door as it's closing. But fact that the room does exist makes me think we're missing out on something...

Awh, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Just when I thought I'd mangled my brain entirely and reached all of the endings. Escape Pod?

Yup! Right before you enter your boss's office (not the waiting room, the actual office), you gotta walk through the door, but step back out of it to where it'll close with you outside of the office. Then you can back-track to the beginning, and the door to the left of your office will now be open

Does it work with all alternative office layouts?

It does! I did it in the blue office alternative, and when I was back-tracking, it simply turned back into the default layout

That ending creeped me out. I am NOT used to complete silence from the Narrator! Also the ending itself was so abrupt.. there's something unsettling there!

reenable the narrarator before you finish theending :P

How do you reenable the narrator though? And would he even say anything?
KROMEchameleon Oct 20, 2013 @ 5:13pm
It really is the most unsettling ending in a way, in that it doesn't seem to be intentionally broken; the narrator completely disappears, and it cuts off so abruptly.

There's a notice on the wall just before you reach the escape pod (that's a little worn out) that has a warning to the effect of the player and the narrator both needing to be present for the escape pod ending to work correctly - not sure though if that's just a red herring or not though =/

I think its intentional the narrator is not there. Unlike other endings where it seems you have "broken" the game, I think this ending is representative of ACTUALLY breaking the game, meaning you have successfully ditched the narrator, thus he is silent the rest of the ending.

Hmmm, yet the text clearly implies the narrator *could* be there....

It seems the more people try and figure this game out the more unanswered questions there are

Right. But as you're back-tracking, even walking into the broom closet (assuming it isn't boarded up) doesn't activate his usual dialogue
