No, see, here's what happened in that trailer:
"Here's this guys opinion. I'm going to read his email in the most sarcastic snoody voice I can muster. Then I'm going to say that he is some sort of Guru and that he was right, my game isn't that good. So then I'm going to show a new game that is full of emotion and choices, and demonstrate one said choice of making the main character teach his Uncles Soul in bike his part in a snake oil salesman bit. Then it will change to static, where I will say this is a part of the DRM. Then I will come out and say 'This wasn't the real game, but we hope the Real game is a lot more enjoyable to you. And if you don't like it, there's nothing more I can do.' "
Also, that guys email was very rude, slightly mysoginistic, and wasn't all to well put together.
I'm also not saying the game is good nor bad. As I haven't played it. Though looking at review scores, it's at the very least not complete garbage.
Only trying to point out that it's not exactly "professional" or at the very least, mature, business practice.
You made the game, you got paid for it, you put up with the flak that one has to take when someone disagrees with you. I shouldn't be brought in as a third party to help deal with that.
If I had to hear every developer who's ever had a bad email belly-ache as hard as this, I wouldn't have the game library I do.
Have some thicker skin and keep it to yourself.
Overall it reminded me of the 'Dot Dot Dot' video, where someone completely failed to see the point of a game and wrote a meaningless review. It's meant to be humorous and fun and if you can't see that the game is 100% not for you as you seem to lack the sense of either.

dude, you ever watched south park or family guy? these shows make a living out of spoofing other people....
you dont need to buy the game if it upsets you, no one will hold it against you.
I have a perfectly fine sense of humor. I'm not high brow with it (all the time) either. I've got screen shots on my profile that looks like another guy is blow jobbin' me while I'm riding an ATV in Arma 3 (extremely tactical, yet an awesomely odd occassion for that). . . . . and that's good times! (pics might be friend visible only, I'll change that if need be)
I'm not aware of the "Dot Dot Dot" video, I'm sure I can google/youtube it.
I just really don't see how ridiculing one guy's message (WHO KNOW ONE KNOWS ABOUT BUT THEM) is a selling point for your product.
There are a lot of full fledged reviews that will give you a better idea about what the game has to offer. You don't need a completely trol-la-la guy to refute what are obvioiusly invalid points.
(Oh, ya linked it, . . . easy findings)
It's done so differently though than this trailer is. Dot Dot Dot (hereby, abbreviated as just Dot) finds it's humor in more than "this guy is an idiot". It's that, and the juxtoposition of "Super serious voice" clashed against "I'm saying words completley wrong". . . . and there's humor in that.
There's no effort in the trailer for this game. The whole message is "I'm snooty, he's a idiot"
lol hope your are a troll
or
have mental disease
Anyone else? Seriously? . . . . I'm getting accused of trolling by trolls
I had to watch in in order to somehow inform you that there is absolutely no way anyone can see where a plot is going without seeing it through to the ending. *sigh* (apparently this crowd is one that has never seen any sitcom ever)
It's nothing but parroting what the email said with the exact words of "now we're going to piss him off. . . . stanley, stanley, . . . . ad nauseum"
Watched it, . . . and . . . really didn't need to. It's not the type of thing to have insane plot twists.
