Cargo Room Floor.

I managed a way to get there and survive, but I was trapped down there. Maybe I missed something, or was there really nothing intended down there?

You're definitely supposed to die. The failed attempt to be a hero is basically its own ending. You're only supposed to be able to fall onto the catwalk.

Ayup, but there's a point in the game where the 'gravity' is shut off and you can be sneaky about getting down there if you are quick. Amazingly I got it on my first try, but it took me like 15 more attempts to reproduce it.

I attempted to climb down using the shelf just to the left of the cargo platform (which you can drop on to and shimmy down the side) but it just auto-kills you when you reach a certain altitude.
