Bug with closing eyes?

So if you take the ending with the dream where you choose to go downstairs instead of upstairs to the boss's office and fly through space and get to the part where you're about to close your eyes, if you press escape and begin the game again it'll start in black and you can't really do much. Your eyes are closed every single time you start the game again.

Yeah, sounds like a bug. Restarting the whole game should fix that.

Are you sure that's a bug and not some kind of new ending path? Restarting the game from the escape menu has allready proven to be more then just a simple 'reset' of the game.

The only possible thing it could match is the proposed seventh restart of the confusion ending.

Technically it could be something entirely new. The devs did say there was at least one secret we haven't discovered yet.
