The end is never the end... And that sucks
So at first I wanted to just write a post about what's in my opinion was better done in the mod and what's better in the game. But then I realized that there's only one thing that I miss in the game that really matters to me. And that's manually restarting it every time.

Basically, every time I played the mod and got a different ending I had a very strong feeling of completeness, each time I experienced a different independent story that was finished. And so when I was restarting the mod I was beginning a completely new story that had no relation to the previous one.
In the game this is replaced with the notion that the end is never the end. It's a good concept, don't get me wrong, and it's a great feature since most people gonna see all the endings anyway, but I always had that feeling that I'm only supposed to play through the mod once, play MY story, get MY ending.
I mean, what's the point of a choice if you're expected to try every possibility anyway?
That wouldn't bother me as much as it did if the game just restarted itself after each ending, but developers took the idea and pretty much made it into a core mechanic, basing a lot of the game around it, taking it too far.

I still liked the game very much. The best part is the ending where you turn on the machine, the soundtrack is so tense, though i was waiting for my favorite line in the mod "This is a video game" and sadly it never happened. Definitely looking forward to see more games from Galactic Cafe.

There is an actual ending. With credits rolling and a "thank you for playing" :)

I found that ending on my own, i was literally just clicking random things.
