How many hours of playtime?
Watched the demo, looks interesting. How many hours of gameplay can I expect?

Given that there is an achievement for beating the game in less than 4 minutes and so many seconds, it's probably short. OR it could be that there is an ending that you can get really early on, I haven't played it.

you can do a speed run of the game in 5 minutes depending on what ending you go for, but to fully explore and take your time with the game it may take you a few hours.

ok without trolling with that 5 min achievements. If I'm playing this game under the assumption that I haven't played the mod. How many hours for this?

The dangers of achievements. The Stanley Parable is game about choice, branching narratives, and various other things. It has a wry sensibility, and much of the game boils down to listening to the Narrator berate or plead with you. Perhaps one of the paths allows you to beat the game that quickly, especially if you don't stop to smell the roses, but that's like assuming that Chrono Trigger is "short" because you can theoretically fight the final boss *immediately.*

Between the devs saying on average of 2 hours, and some players saying up to 4 or 5 hours. I would say somewhere in that area.

Have you played the mod before? would really want a comment from a previous owner since I'm new to this

I did some time ago. It was much like what people are saying. Walking around exploring the office while the narrator either says what you are doing or says something about you or what you should do. The fun parts come when you don't listen to them and do as you like, or go against their own words. The original game was short and long, full of wit and subtle humor. Down right quizzical and bland all at the same time. It isn't for everyone that is for sure. Think of it more like Portal. Short, sweet, and very good at what it does.
