No menu on 3840x2160 resolution?

Title says it all... I changed the resolution of the game to match my monitor and the menu disappeared. I can't exit the game or anything (without Alt+Tab). Are there any solutions already posted somewhere? If so they'Re hard to find..

happened to me as well, but the menu is there as others said, you just can see the base menu. You can arrow down to the options and change the resolution back. Question, is the fix to get the menu back on screen or to change someting else? I don't want to alter the way it works, I just want the menu.

It just sorts the 'missing' menu issue on a UHD screen when the game resolution is set to 3840x2160 by showing the main menu on screen properly. I can now play it at that res ok now but you would like to think that it would have been sorted by a small dev patch by now since it has been a known problem for over a year now. Buyers should not still be having to search forums like this one for the fix.

I just got shocked because everything looked fine and I was looking forward to play the game. Then the menu disappeard and I first thought it was part of the game. I have the same opinion: Player shouldn't have to look in forums like this and be bothered by this issue. I won't give this game a negative review but it took me maybe an hour to figure everything out and that was just disturbing. Please fix it! If you want to be up to date, every game should at least support a 4k resolution. Is that such a big thing?

Hey guys, sorry for the insane wait on this. I don't have a 4k monitor so I actually had to travel to a friend's to try this.

So here's what: you can do a temporary ugly fix by editing the file "resource/ui/basemodui/mainmenu_tsp.res" in a text editor. You'll see two lines like this:

"wide" "8000"
"tall" "8000"

Just change them to this:

"wide" "f0"
"tall" "f0"

It doesn't look perfect but its usable, at least.

I will try and roll out a proper fix for this in a few weeks.

I just finished playing the game in 2160p without the menus, so replying for visibility in case someone checks the discussions for a solution to the problem.

Got this issue with 3840x2160 resolution. I am happy that "temporary ugly fix" helped me to see the menus. Anyway it should be fixed!

No matter which resolution I used, the menu didn’t appear. I eventually discovered that switching the Steam interface language to English fixed the issue—apparently, the game is looking for English resources. Simply launching the game with the “-language english” parameter while Steam was set to mine language didn’t work.

I didn't try the ugly fix, but I figured out if you set it to 2560x1440 it works great, and that should fit the screen size at least for 4k. Also I'd like to note that for some reason if the resolution is set to 3840x2160, but the advanced settings are default, then it works, but with advanced settings maxed out, and max res, it gets this bug.

Unfortunately this is still not fixed 8 years later.
