is there actually an ending for clicking the dont kill the baby button for 4 hours?

There is.After two hours clicking, there appears a puppy and another button you must click.
After 4 hours clicking, white screen appears and Divine of Art. Search in google for Stanley Parable Baby Ending

I believe the common way to do it is to setup the game to press the button by itself while you just wait and do other things, come back in 2 hours to make sure you do the same for the puppy that comes up.... diddle around for another 2 hours, come back and finish.

Even better, use the developer console: "ent_fire babytrainofdeath kill" and "ent_fire puppy kill", no need to put effort into it at all!
