Speed Run Achievement [HELP]
I saw videos from other people doing it, and I did the following steps:
1- Went to the boss office and rushed for the password (i've tried the "patience" way, didn't work)
2- Did the same as above to get the elevator and the door right.
3- Restarted the game some times to get a fast start.

I've saved the game after the second step so I could try again later.
Everything went fine, by my timer I've made it (through the door, not counting the part that you can't do anything) at 'bout 4:10... Yet can't understand why it doesn't give me the achievement.

Also, I though that having the console on, it wouldn't give me the achievement, so I've disabled it, yet didn't make it.

I'm open to any suggestions.

(Sorry if the text is kinda confusing, I'm not so good at english)

I'll be trying for that today so if I get it, I'll report back here on what I did and what happened.

Make sure the door is opening quickly, and just do everything the announcer says.

When I described the second step, "to get the elevator and the door right.", I mean that i organized it so the elevator and the boss office's door open quickly.

Yeah, also I've won the freedon ending twice to try it but only the lift gets shorter, not the door nor the start.

you heve to restart a few times til you get an other door then the way will be shorter

if you stil can't get it look at some guids

oké i played it a few times and if you play along, the office will change and when you have that sprint and turn to the open door where you wil find the set of two open doors.
after you played a few times the narrator wil say "yaya we now the dril (blablabla)" , restart again and the door (in the bosses office) wil open as soon as you walk in.
it is just a metter of time (and I stil don't got it :( I don't now)

I don't know if it was a bug, but I saved right before the end and loaded that save and it gave me the achievement.

I tried it almost an hour, with the timing of the door and the elevator and also the start,
When I tried to get the office's secret door opening, after some attempts the narrator won't open the door for me (4 or 5) then I use the password before it finish his phrase and then the next time I went there it opens quickly, but I don't know if this prevents me from getting the achievement.

I think I'll try it.

I did this a looooong time ago, there aren't really any tricks to it. It helps to have finished the game following the narrator's instructions at least once so you know basically where to go.

Restart the game often enough and straight out of the office you'll get a short corridor leading to the first "decision" room with 2 doors. That scenario cuts out plenty of time on the run and you should be able to do it easily enough from there on. That's all I did. No tricks, no passwords, no fast doors or whatever.

Unless something has changed in the last few months anyway, this wasn't the hardest thing to achieve.

You can use "shortcut", you need to use chairs to get up on desk or "security bar".
And you can win some time with this trick.
And you can use all the tips at the same time (Boss office open + Start in the blue room + short cut with chairs)

I tried 70 or 80 times, possibly over 100, but I'm not sure. So I feel all your pain. It's a rough time to hit, but I think I got it in 4:16 or 4:18. Practice and focus along with getting on top both chairs the first time each is the only way I found. Reloading a save didn't trigger the achievement for me even when I beat it under time.
Good luck to everyone trying.

All I did was going to the Boss room, activated the secret door, then restart before riding the lift.
Did that a few times until the secret door opens automatically when you enter the Boss room.
Then I restarted again many times more at the starting room (207; Stanley's) until I got the straight, short blue corridor that leads to the first 'decision doors'.
You can even see the 'decision doors' from the starting room when you get this short corridor.

Getting the 'whiteboard ending' beforehand might help (in getting the short blue corridor), but I'm not so sure.

That's it.
No precision jumping needed.
