If It works for me it shall for you (:
There aren't any guarranted way to bypass this, however one thing that has worked with me so far is:
1: Download the Demo (for tSP) and the game (in case you haven't).
1.5: Backup the "server.dll" file from the full game, found in thestanleyparable > bin (this is optional).
1.75: Disable Steam Cloud synchro (you can reactivate it after you're done, this is just to prevent the game from validating its files once you start (which would prevent this method from working)). You can do this by going in Steam > Settings > Cloud > and untick the "Enable Steam Cloud" box. I don't know if it's the same path on Mac or Linux.
2: In the files for the demo, copy the file called "server.dll" (in thestanleyparabledemo > bin) and place it in the full game's files (at thestanleyparable > bin).
3: Launch the game with the command console active and type "sv_cheats 1"
4: Load a save / Start a game and type in the console "noclip"
and this should work.
Like I said, though, some people say that this doesn't work with everyone, but as long as you've got Steam Cloud disactived, you have at least one chance to get this to work. (Like I said, it worked and still works for me, and I'm on the latest version of the game.)
I thought you could just use the console comands directly, that's what i remember doing. So I looked it up online, and I guess I didnt just do that :) ) also the wiki gave an easier way to do this it seems.
sv_cheats 1 - Normally enables server cheats, but instead, teleports Stanley to the Serious Room and Serious Ending. In the demo the console prints "Why????", but doesn't take the player to the Serious Room. Staying in the Serious Room and repeatedly entering the command will cause the narrator to "go shopping for another table. However, if you enter the command before loading or starting a new game on the main menu it will display the "Why????" message - now allowing for commands such as noclip and impulse (100, etc) - The game is now susceptible to most -- if not all HL2/Portal 2 console commands.
EDIT nevermind, the wiki lied to me
