I wanna talk about the escape pod ending
If there is already a discussion about the possibility of a working escape pod ending and I'm bringing back a dead topic, I apologize, and can I have a link to it?
In any case,

in the escape pod ending, the escape pod blows up instead of working properly because the narrator isn't present, right?

When the game first came out, Davey hinted at there being a secret involving up and down. I can't remember an ending involving these things, and I read some people specdulating that it had to do with the elevator.
I noticed that there are elevator doors in the crazy downstairs garage place and in the escape pod ending as you're going up all the stairs.

Kevan Brighting makes funny posts about Stanley and the narrator in a matter-of-fact way on his twitter and he once recorded this[soundcloud.com] dialogue of the narrator commenting that they escaped the game, accompanied by a picture of the escape pod outside in grass (as opposed to being in a dark rectangular room), Kevan stating that it was from an ending that nobody found. This is likely a troll post, but.........................................................................what if it's serious? I'm 99% sure he was trolling though

In the escape pod ending the floors you go up go from 154 to 160,
so I tried going into the elevator, and then pushing the up button 12 times. Then I tried again, leaving the elevator and going back in 6 times.
I then tried doing the ending multiple times on the off chance that maybe the narrator from the previous playthrough would still be there and there could be a trade. Nope.
I then tried going out the side of the window because I knew there was narrator dialogue there. but instead of the ending changing, it simply glitched and reverted to the window/out-of-bounds endings.
Nothing I tried changed the escape pod ending nor made anything weird happen.

It seems like the only ways to get the escape pod to work are to
>somehow inform the narrator about the existence of the escape pod ending
>reopen the door you lock him behind (without using the console ofc)
>or get the elevator to do something (pretty sure the elevators are just props though).

Although, when I think about this logically, it wouldn't make sense for there to be a way out of the game for the characters, since.. ya know, they're game characters, and they'd be back after restarting.

So guys, is this another false lead/red herring like the buttons in the countdown ending?

What do you guys think (aside from the fact that I'm probably gullible and like to waste my time)? Is there another outcome to the escape pod ending?

I saw a screenshot of the back of the escape pod, on the back it reads "Bitterman", It's likely irrelevant.
i think it's possible that when you go up or down in the elevator, in a set unknown pattern, you will be left in an exact replica of the office, but the correct one. Like a parallel universe. We know this is true because when we walk up the floors in the escape pod ending, you can look through the windows of the same office as confirmation.
decent guess here that it'll be expanded on in Ultra deluxe, as it seems like something just begging for more, along with the confusion ending.
