I think a movie with similar humor would be the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy
It's really good and if you saw it already, the books (yes, plural, books) are even... are good, too..

I can remember an episode from supernatural, where dean wakes up and the same thing happens to him over over again:

A piano falls and he dies, than we wakes up.

Supernatural was the show in seasons 1 to 4. Great ♥♥♥♥.

Groundhog Day is good. That's similar to yours there, a guy wakes up every day, on the same day. it's repeating... it has some funny scenes

[What Would Spock Do]

Metropia and Brazil both involve offices and mind control, but I found both of these movies boring (actually I've never seen more but a small handful of scenes from Brazil so maybe it's not so boring). There's a horror movie from 2009 called Triangle that plays with the idea of your actions being able to break your existence and timeline. There's a 10 min short film that's definitely inspired by the game Joe Woke Up at 6AM on a Monday as well as many fan-made short films on youtube.
