When the narrator says "Stanley, next time the screen tells you to push a button, do not do it," does anything happen if you wait for long enough? I waited for a few minutes and nothing happened.

You can try, but I don't expect that it will do anything. In this comment I was just thinking aloud about what might be added to the game in Ultra Deluxe.
