So, I can't get the go outside achievement

I did do everything legit, I waited my 5 years to get it (I have picture proof of it) but I didn't get it, I know the problem is that I hadn't had it installed all this time (there is no way I could prevent uninstalling it, if I had it installed, as I needed to reinstall the entirety of steam due to SCP: Secret Laboratory breaking my entire computer and making the external I had that held all of my steam games unreadable for some reason), and I did, being the moron I am, played the game right after installing it rushing me getting it without checking other places for what I should do first, and the thing is I worried about that happening too so I didn't think to do anything like completely turn off steam and turn it on again. If anyone's wondering, I would have gotten the achievement legit a few months ago but never had the courage to download it, knowing it would break and I would become extremely sad about it, so does anyone have any way I might be able to get the achievement? I usually am never one of those people who like to 100% games, I usually play games I have for A) fun or B) the story, usually A, I of course will earn achievements if they are achievements I want and think will be fun to obtain, and this one is a rare, hard-to-achieve one, and I don't want to get it un-legit now that I would've gotten it legit because I really think there is a way to fix this, plus I am pretty sure people who non-legit it get it removed, and if I get it removed after doing it non-legit then I am back at square one, I almost want to make this a reddit post but I'm gonna try steam first, and if I can't find a way to fix it from here I will most likely go to reddit, but I really hope I can get the achievement legit. Anyone here able to help me?

People have wildly varying ideas of what's 'legit.' In a general sense, changing system time in itself is a built-in feature of the OS the game was designed to run on and it's up to developers to implement an alternative time source if they don't want that to be used in their games. It's also the only way you'll be able to 'fix' this achievement other than waiting another 5 years. You know you did it legit anyway and anyone who's going to judge you over using a sensible workaround in this situation isn't worth paying attention to.

Unfortunately, if you're a member of sites like Astats or intend to be, then it's a bit more complicated because you're subject to their (sometimes silly) rules regarding what's legit. In those cases you should discuss the matter with site/group staff.
