Shut Up and Dance is a RenPy adventure visual novel.

You were kicked out of college due to your poor grades. Then your landlord died. As the place you were living had an outstanding loan, you were evicted.

You start off by naming your character. You are given a chance to verify your character name.

The situation is a bit unrealistic. You live with your landlady, who was paying for you to go to school. Her husband died and you had to move due to a mortgage on the house, but somehow there is still a way to pay off the mortgage. I understand that the landlady/landlord use is to get onto the Steam store and not have issues on Patreon. A better way to handle it is to allow the player to set the relationships.

Saving, or loading, is a two-step process. You right click, as normal, then you select save or load. There is also a link to Discord and Twitter on the acknowledgement prompts, really not needed.

You don't get the first scene until about an hour into the game. Be patient, it is there.

The story is disjointed, like you've missed content. This is actually because of the story. Rather than let you experience the story in chronological order there is a "mechanism" in the game that allows you to go into the past. The "Some Time Later" transition screen is used way too often and could be a drinking game. It wouldn't hurt to have a few different options, "After Dinner", "That Evening", "Friday Night", anything other than seeing the same slide over and over.

When Chen, your boss at the bar, talks to you, some of his dialog is in an Asian language and not translated. Normally I would just enter it into Google Translate, but since they are characters and not letters, that is not possible. It would be nice if the English translation followed in a (What he said) format. As is, you get that he is making a derogatory statement about you and that's it.

The action picks up later in the game, which kind of makes up for the slow start. There were around 45 choices to make on my play through. Some of the choices were different paths, most were a divergence, where the game would be in the same place no matter which choice you made. I got just over half of the achievements on a single play through.

The Gallery is accessed from the title menu. Scenes are broken down by character. There are scenes from the game and some additional scenes that aren't in the game. There are eight women in the Gallery with the number of scene varying from three to 65. The scenes play out as they did in the game.

I played the whole game and still can't tell you why it has the name it does. Over eight hours of game play, beautiful models, and enough content to play through at least twice.

Holy moly these sex scenes are top shelf!
Ladies are gorgeous, renders are amazing, animations are some of the best I've seen.
Would personally prefer some smaller breasted options, and sexy sounds in the lewd scenes, but that would make the game perfect, and we can't have that.
Unapologeticlly sex focused, though there is still a nice build up on the love path. Toward the end of current content there are some lewd scenes that will take a good amount of time to properly play through, lots of various positions, angles, and tons of dirty talk. Just really what a porn game should be. High quality and lots of fun.
I would call this the next generation of Dreams of Desire, and I loved that game, so I love this one too.
Also has plenty of replay-ability with choices that change the game, which is very nice.
Just buy it. If you like sex games you will like it.
Minor quibble that there is no kind of quick menu or option to quick save, which doesn't really make sense, as Dev would have to intentionally disable that feature. Still, not really worth fighting over.
Almost forgot, family fun times patch required for maximum enjoyment.
