I like how you made loose timestamp goals and specified exactly what to use potions on, what items to use, what traits to ignore or focus on etc. A lot of the other guides I've seen related to the Specialist Quests have been, IMO, too vague or not crystal clear with what to get/use. (Not to mention outdated) So I greatly appreciate when someone takes the time to explicitly state things or make it crystal clear what to do/get, leaving little ambiguity. Thanks again!
I appreciate this. Thank you!
I managed to get both SF specialty and the 100M dmg with it!
Would you say this is also a good build to achieve agony IV on chamber of dissonance ?
Thank you and Congratulations!
It probably can, but I wouldn't call it good. Viaduct is great for this because enemies only come at you from 2 sides, this helps SF get a lot of value because it punches through more enemies than usual and knocks back those that survive. What's more a lot enemies don't actively try and walk into you, so you have a lot of space/time to build up exclusively for SF (which is very slow to attack). Whereas in Chambers they will come at you from all sides, and every enemy will try and walk into you. This means that you will likely be forced to take another ability to cover the early game. So your trait pool is diluted and it will steal kills from SF.
All that said, you could make it work, by taking (the now unlocked) Consecutive Punches upgrade and building in more multistrike and attack speed. This would give SF the coverage it needs to carry you solo in Chambers (you'll probably still be running a heap though). GLHF!
UPDATE: I did it, overall wierd quest, thx for guide.
That aside, thanks for a spectacular guide!
Thanks for the kind words about the guide! ♥
It wasn't related to the game/game mechanics, just my own poor choice of words. The devs weren't out of line with banning me. I'm only human and, like anyone, I can be careless with the things I say. They decided I needed to be reminded to take more care with my words, especially since I'm so active here. So they saw fit to grant me a 3 day vacation for reflection. I'm back now though.
Thank you for the guide: Sage is the class I struggle the most =)
Have you completed the "Spectral Fists Mastery III" quest? This unlocks the Adaption traits.
