[BUG! (BUT MAKE IT SUPER EXCITED)] Fragile/Afflication Chance on False Blessing incorrectly applied

The Fragile/Affliction chances are not adding up.
Visible Bonuses: 70%
Invisible Bonuses: 45% (False Blessing)

Base 0.50 + 115% = 107.5%
The displayed total is 123%, what's going on?

Treating False Blessing as a double multiplier yields...

Base 0.50 + 70% + 45% = 123.5%

This is consistent for each level of False Blessing.
e.g. Level 10 cleric with normal bonuses. 0.50 + 30% + 15% = 74.75% (consistent with ingame values)

Now I'm wondering if some of the other "invisible" bonuses I have found are double multipliers too? *excited noises*

This is not a bug, this is why I keep saying that the bug of the total value is not a bug but an issue of the tooltip not being to handle two sourced of modifier values.

The "xxx Chance on Damage" or "Hit" have always two components:
- Effect on Hit
- XXX Chance

They always both multiply.

Btw. it's the same way for Projectile emitters where Multistrike applies to Attack Speed.

Thanks, I won't make anymore "total value incorrect" bug reports anymore, at least until the tooltip issue is resolved.

I must have missed where you said that before, sorry about that.

P.S. Do let me know if I am out of line with any other bug reports! I do it to help, not drain your time.

The tooltips that are affected by the limitation are really just those with 2 modifier sources for one thing or those were just the multiplier value matters but not the base value (eg. Shield Bash does not get a bonus from base damage but damage multiplier)
If anything else is wrong, it's somewe wont catch.

But it's also not wrong to report these mismatch in tooltips in general, there are still bugs, just known ones to us devs :3

Ok so if i read correctly... you want me to continue doing "total value" bug reports, but only if they aren't a double modifier situation?

You also want bug reports for incorrect tooltips? (there are a lot of these, happy to report them if that's what you want)

Every bug is a bug that needs fixing. So yes, just throw them in and I'll be going for them. Otherwise they might not get fixed :')
