So Jade Amulet is still the best starting amulet option, go figure.
Oh it doesn't work anymore once you've reach level 60? Neat, I'll just dump it and replace it with another amulet once I've reached that level. Between the extra chests that drop in Agony mode and the 3 hallucinagenic potions you're very likely to pick up at least one more amulet so starting with Jade Amulet is still the optimal way to play the game and this won't change until the other amulets are actually worth enough to consider taking them over the snowball option.

And this is the core of the problem here, isn't it. The snowball effect provided will always outdo the rinky dink benefits the other amulets give you. You simply nerfed an item without considering the core issue at hand and effectively achieved nothing.

You want people to start with other amulets instead of Jade? Make them actually worth something and don't just neuter Jade.

I completly stopped using Jade Amulet and pick another well fitting damage or support necklace instead, ending up with a better result in terms of kills and hero levels, when comparing the exact same build (considering rng) with each other.

For very early game, when you didnt have unlockd many quests for the xp boost, this might be just enough boost to give you an edge.
For the late game there is no need anymore for more hero lvls, since you can end up around lvl 120+ with ease.
