Game won't open

Game won't start using any launch options. OpenGL does nothing. Normal launch seems to open a godot engine that i can see in task manager, but doesn't do anything beyond that. And the force GPU setting brings up an empty console window but doesn't do anything else.

I updated graphics drivers earlier today. Running a 1080TI and i7-7700k. Not sure what else to even check, doesn't appear to be any crash log or anything.

Same here, although been able to play by opening the game location and clicking on the exe file. But from steam it won't launch... very quirky. Not Sure if this has anything to do with playing the prologue or not, but I uninstalled that and the problem persists.

Same issue. Drivers appear to be up to date. The fixes that were posted in the discussions for the demo/prologue (--rendering-driver opengl3 in launch options, launching from .exe directly, or both) seemed to do nothing.

Hey, we are not exactly sure why this is the case. Listing your GPU would help us to narrow down the issue.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB on my end. Driver is newest version available.

Same issue here, nothing will open this game for me. Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB. Other than the OP seems there's a lot of GTX 1060 users here.

Same issue, 1070 though. No logs created when Forcing GPU on launch options either.

Same here, just a blank launch window "Halls of Torment (DEBUG) (Not Responding)".
Tried all launch options.
RX 570 8Gb, RAM 16Gb, Windows 11

Yep, beta branch update seems to have fixed it. Game loads fine now, thanks for the update!
