what items count for achievement?

Definetly Gorgon Mask and Echoing Band, which both will give the quest almost for free.

I tried both, but only the dmg from the Gorgon Mask counted. I did 16m dmg with Echoing Band. Not reached 5 million dmg, but only 500k (assumnig from the mask). Electrostatic threads and Blazing shell did almost no dmg.

I did some test runs for a minute and looked at my unfinished quest afterwards. It seems that only the Gorgon mask counts. I tried Electrostatic threads, Firewalker Boots, Blazing shell and Echoing Band with no output to Technician 2.

Echoing Band should work, since there were fresh reports of people who did this after live patch, so it wasnt just only me during experimental.

Did you used an Uncommon variant?
So things seem to be very broken after experimental went live.

Echoing Band does not work. Today was an update with no description. New quests without giving gold now give gold. Agony 5 in new level feels much harder than yesterday.
And I tried to go to the ghost army in forgotten viaduct to cheese with the Gorgon mask. The warriors do not take dmg anymore.

I think they do, it's just not displayed anymore.

Mara stated in another thread they can not abused for dmg quests anymore.

I did it with Gorgon mask. You dont want to kill the enemies too quickly. And running in circles, present your mask to everyone :-) It will ramp up quickly in the last minutes. I had 3 million dmg by minute 25 and ended up with 11 million dmg in the last 5 minutes.

I did it with Echoing Band for both. It didnt register till like 6 million though.

Confirmed Echoing band works. I just got it with ~2.5m Gorgon, ~2.5m Echoing Bank

This is still bugged, Echoing Band 24 mil and it didn't unlock......

Echoing Band is working, just put everything into Arquebus, go agony on map 1 and blast it. I think the damage has to come off of ONE item. They seam not to combine. (Maybe it was just random, but got achievement for 5 mil as soon as Echoing Ring hit 5mil in the dps sheet.

I had managed to get both quests/ achievements in one run thanks to Echoing Band. However, Technician I and II had unlocked when I had over 10M kills and 50m kills respectively. So this quest was definitely acting strange for me.

I just did 13 M damage using Echoing Band and Gorgons Mask, and it did not unlock for me.
