Have you started the prelude once, closed it and then started the main game?
There is another solution.
Thanks for the assist. That does work...
For future reference
If the game does not detect your prelude progress nor does it provide an import button...
Go to where ever your Steam folder is and then continue down the path of 'userdata' and then there will be a folder with a unique name (I can't know the name of it on your PC) you will need to open. Inside of that folder, find folders with the names:
2316660 - this folder contains save data for the prelude
2218750 - this folder contains save data for the main game
Copy the 3 files from the prelude folder and paste them into the main game folder. You may need to overwrite the main game files. If you screw this up and do it backwards you will lose your progress just fyi.
We have fixed it with a Prelude update.
If you update the Prelude, launch the game and then go out again, a local save should have been created. (If it does not, just go into a hall and quickly die, that will trigger a save for sure)
That save then can be used as normal for import.
Sorry for the oversight.
