How to prevent archers from critical hits when attacking?
There is an achievement that requires 15 minutes, and the default critical hit rate is 33%. How can I lower it?

Hi,

you could deactivate Auto Attack with your Main Weapon and use Abilites w/o crit values as well.

Good Luck,
Cheers!

I haven't played for so long that I forgot about this method, thank you all.

And what ability is that? Every one I've checked so far has a non 0 crit chance.

I used only lightning strikes, never upgraded crits, and made sure to not to use any items that give crit bonuses, but the quest didn't unlock. Am I overlooking something?

The swordsman has a tier V trait that lowers base crit by 10% or so, you can double it but it's probably not enough to over come archer's base crit.

Someone in another thread has pointed out that this particular quest/achievement could be related to an artifact that gets rid of crits. It seems they don't make it clear that you use an artifact to complete certain quests.

Answered in another thread with the same question: Use the summon rings, shadow cloak chestpiece and the electro boots and turn off auto attacks, then just survive for 15 minutes.

Confirmed. Also, you need to be mindful of what mark you use. I think I had the warlock's mark and it was causing crits.
