archer achievment: avoid dealing critical hits for 15 minutes
Hello, how can you reach this achievment if the archer has a natural critical hits?

Hello there,

easy but very boring:
- deactivate Auto Attack
- equip everything you have with Movement Speed Boni
- Haunted Caverns Normal
- run around in circles for 15 minutes

You can also equip various items with damaging effects or Summons,
but be carefull, some items can crit as well (Necromancer's Clutch - Mage Sekleton).

Use summon/damaging items. It doesn't matter if they crit, as long as YOU don't crit.

The laziest way to do this is just getting Defiant Plate(Reactive) and stacking defense/block with shield maiden mark, you'll clear enemies and there's no need to dodge anything or really move at all. That's only if you got a lot of items already tho.

Also I recommend doing it on Haunted Caverns, as you'll probably won't have abilities, you can easily kite the boss around for the no-hit quest.

And remember you don't have do it from the start, you can wait until the timer reaches 14 minutes and turn of your auto-attack. This gives you plenty of time to level up defense/block/speed.

I did the summon items run at first, but the counter reset after a few minutes twice (despite me not dealing any damage myself). Don't know if it's a bug, but I swapped to the run-speed approach. It was more fun too.

I did it by equipping Blazing Shell, equipping defensive or Movement speed gear in the other slots, turning off auto-attack, and running around without taking any scroll/tome abilities. Burn damage cannot crit, so that took care of damage and I got the achievement.

Base Haunted Caverns plus Rat Rings, Defiant Plate (Reactive), Medusa Mask, that Shadow Cloak.

No Necromancy Ring, no Skeleton Mage mark, no Hound mark, all of those have a Crit Chance.

I imagine you had Necromancer Ring. The Skeleton Mage summons have a Crit Chance.
I didn't bother to check the Demonic Band Imps.

This is apparently not how it works. You are considered to deal your summons' damage. That said, some summons don't have an innate crit chance.

For anyone looking in early 2025, this is false. You CANNOT use summons that crit. This can easily be tested multiple times in a matter of minutes. So no, no Warlock mark. No Necromancer's Clutch ring. Want an easy setup for normal Haunted Caverns and quit at 15?

- Mark of the Sword
- Gorgon Mask
- Holy Relic
- Pest Ring
- Blood Catcher
- Running Shoes
- Invocator's Grasp
- Blazing Shell
