I have seen other threads on this, but they are not really helpful, is there a trick to getting the last 3 or so artifacts? I have run 4 or 5 maps now with no drops and I am missing some very powerful artifacts, including master's vice which is locking me out of finishing the norseman. 20 mins only to get nothing is kind of frustrating. The torment shards are nice, but I went to finish up the achieves.

Consensus so far is it's random, and that the number of artifacts you use does not make a difference.

Personally, I ran 10-11 artifacts, and got the last few with only a few runs getting nothing. Might very well be confirmation bias, but you could try.

I am probably just unlucky, but right now I am terminating and relaunching before each attempt and that first won run seems to be my lucky one.

I must be very lucky as I now have all artefacts and there were only a few runs that didn't produce any. Mind you I wasn't specifically looking for those artefacts but was just playing the game, farming for uncommon gear and completing achievements. And eventually I had acquired all artefacts. I don't know if this is relevant but most of those runs were through the Shrine of Torment and I generally only had no more than four artefact modifiers active at any given run.

"not really helpful" in what way? They increase difficulty so the reward is greater. I run with 15 Artifacts to get 8-9 shards per 20min run. What is not really helpful is doing the Vault, no gold for completion, shards return is low and takes too long to complete.

you can get 8-10 shards in half the time in the vault

With shield maiden it takes literally 4 minutes to get 8-10 shards in the vault with a pretty much brain dead build where you are basically ignoring most enemies, don't know what you guys are talking about lol

By not really helpful I was referring to the other threads, since I made a new thread that has already been covered. As far as the shards, I was not running for shards, I want to get all 500 achieves and I need the last 2 artifacts to do so. The shards right now do not make the runs any faster or easier as I run about 5 artifacts right now so the only real reason besides doing billions of damage in a run to have more shards is to run harder agony runs(I do like more shards mind you).

With that being said, I appreciate the response's it does appear to just be luck based from what I can see. I will try force restarting after a run/s, Maybe it resets a seed or something.

It is extremely helpful for shards and by far the fastest way to gather them. But yes, outside of that the vault is pretty much useless after the completing all challenges related to it.

Anyhow, fastest way to get those final artifacts is probably to do a shield maiden setup. Make her invincible in a few minutes, then go afk and do whatever until it finishes. You'll spend less than 5 minutes actually playing per attempt. Use a bot or something to automatically press enter for level ups and whatnot.

Hello there,

use the Artifact "Malignant Mirror" if you have it.
It spawns 3 Lords at the end so you have 3 times the chance for a Drop Roll.
This might be the only reliable option to increase the odds.

My 1st run today yielded an artifact. I quit the game completely, 2nd run, boom final artifact. So either I too got very lucky or there is something to quitting out of the game completely.

This could actually be a reason since some bugs occur if you keep playing...
