"Deal 2 000 000 damage with items"

I have this quest.

Used the Echoing Band which did 2.7 million damage, and Sparking Tips that did 1.7 million. That's over 4 million damage done with items. Yet, the quest did not complete. What am I missing?

Hi,

track the quest to see if it works:
When the run starts, unequip and reequip Echoing Band and/or switch the Ring Slots.
This should fix an issue with that.

I will try that next time.

I did another run where the Echoing Band did over 7 million. Gorgon Mask did over 3 million. Shadow Cloak over 17 million. The quest still did not complete.

This quest is completely broken.

Do you use the correct character?
If I remember correclty its Technician for Landsknecht.

You might check the quest description on the quest board.
Its always Character: Name X OR Any

I suppose I have to scroll through all those pages to find the quest every time I receive one then since they don't bother to put a quest requirement on the quest text itself. How convenient.

Yes, I am frustrated because I literally just spent an hour in vain trying to do this quest.

I am on this quest, but I can not find it on the quest board. The closest is under the Technician board, there is a "Technician II" which is "Deal 5 000 000 damage with items." I am guessing it is the Undiscovered Quest just before that. Is this a bug or something? I tried re-equipping the ring after being in the hall, but still didn't complete when the Echo Ring had 2.5 m damage....

That said, I did use the wrong character, so that's why it didn't work. But you would think I should be able to see the quest, and I can't.

This looks very wrong and could indeed be buggy,
since you shoud unlock TI before TII.
Your Questboard on top says deal 2mil, while its not even active.

I would recommend work your way up:
Morning Star Mastery II (I will unlock o nthe way, its already grey)
and maybe even MSM III right next to II (5mil with Morningstar.)

Then Technician I should unlock and become clearable.

Yeah, I don't know.... I only started playing the game after 1.0 came out. It will be interesting to see if when I am playing the correct character if the quest will complete or not.

Oh that was the issue.
For me, that was still an undiscovered quest, but looking around I found that for some reason "Technician II" was revealed, but not the first one.
So it was the Landsknecht, time to play a run as her again.
Weird how the automatically assigned "Try for this quest next" was that, even though it hadn't been revealed via completing an adjacent achievement.

And it worked. Despite being undiscovered, when I broke 2 m damage on the ring, the quest completed. It is now visible on the quest tablet as is the one before it, which was also undiscovered previously. *shrug*
