Decrease your movement speed to 12

I decreased my movement speed to 3 and didn't got the achievement :(
I even started lower than 12

Flight and Fight - Decrease your movement speed to -12m/s with the artifact "Confusing Lens".
you have to decrease your MS to -12.

Confusing Lens + everything with +%MS.
Dont pick anyithing with + Base MS, or you will increase your MS back into positives.

You can equip 2x Guiding Star, Running Shoes, Hood and if you even need more, go to the Raven on Forgotten Viaduct, which will give you a large MS bonus as well.

Making a negative number more negative can be argued to be decreasing it. The fact that it involves taking percentage increases means it isn't really intuitive either way.

Seriously, please rework that artifact entirely. Control reversal is only remotely relevant when it starts and ends, so having it active for a whole run does basically nothing.

That's only partially correct. The achievement is written correctly. Just confusing how to achieve until you unlock a certain artifact.

You need to increase it to 12 but you need the artifact mentioned in the first response to get into negative movement speed.

Just in case, since I am not sure after reading the thread:

To be absolutely clear, for the achievement you need to decrease your movement speed to at least below *negative* 12 m/s. This means -12, 13, -14, -15, -16 and so on are valid for the achievement, not -11, -10, -9, etc. You need to use the Confusing Lens artifact to do this.

HOWEVER, this comes from multiplying negatives.
Avoid Swift Feet as adding to base speed is an Additive bonus, not Multiplicative. Additive bonuses like Swift Feet will cancel out your Negativity.

I got the achievement in like 3min and tossed the run since it was annoying.
I suspect the poster is sabotaging themselves with Swift Feet.

so to do this you need to use the artifact. it makes ur speed negative so reversed movement. but all %speed buffs are multipliers and will increase your speed even if its negative. all base movement speed buffs are additive and will increase your base speed so make u slower. ignore all base speed and take all %speed and either grab the powerup that increases your speed or the bird in forgotten viaduct. easy peasy

There is no issue with how this achievement is written. People have just got to remember basic mathematics.

Confusing Lens gives you a -10m/s. Adding base values such as Swift Feet will only increase this value and make it larger. I.E. -10m/s + 0.3m/s = -9.7m/s.

What you want to do is make this value smaller by using multiplicative values such as Forced March from Landsknecht. I.E -10m/s x 1.10m/s = -11m/s.

I got this achievement instantly upon loading in by equipping both uncommon variants of the ring that increases attack speed when not moving and vice-versa.

It was bugged when I got it recently. Getting to 12 ms rewarded it.

well, I "decreased" my movement speed up, with followed gear
Hood
Gatherer Charm
2x Guiding Star
Running Shoes
And the achievement instantly popped
