This tip helped me after a lot of flailing. I think you'd have a lot of folks cheering your name if you made this into a guide in the "Guides" section instead of a forum post.
It already is in the Builds Subforum (there isn't a "guides" subforum). And yes, a lot of folks already cheered their name, according to the bunch of awards the guide has... There are really useful guides in there, if you feel like learning a bit more about the game. Awesome as it is, it still isn't clear about some concepts, but thankfully we have some MVP members here that have dedicated hours of their time to sharing their knowledge.
Cheers
I am blocked by this bug too
Oh, funny, I just mentioned this in another thread.
Sometimes, if your fps is low from all the effects going on, the turret will bug out when you turn it and it will stop slightly off target. This can cause it to appear to hit a wall, but if it was meant to hit another turret when pointed in that direction it will still activate the next one.
If it looks like the laser is *not* pointing directly NE/NW/SE/SW, it might be worth it to go in that direction a little bit longer to see if this happened.
It didn't actually activate it.
1. U can turn on "turrets" without reading the book.
2. The light ray can go through "turrets". So the ray turn on "turret" and go through it.
3. The light ray can be inaccuract, but still can turn on "turrets". Like hit it but not top of the beam, where is the lamp.
I hope this helps. I needed to do like few test run to figured it out.
Another thing i turn on 3 turret and i got the 3 min achievement without activate the monolith.
After you activate the monolith it takes like 1 2 min to do 100k dmg achievement.
Real talk: I've ***had*** cancer, and I preferred it to this dumpster fire of a quest.
