Sage takes a lot of getting used to, he operates in such a wildly different manner. It's kinda refreshing.
Pick morning star and boost the crap outta it, unlock the chain damages upgrade along with plenty of multistrike and attack speed.....got yourself a lawnmower of supreme violence.

My all time favorite is Meteor Strike into Fireballs, but you can do all kinds of dumb.
Arcane Rift can be built insanly with Elemental Rifts.
The important part, especially for Chambers of Dissonance Agony, if you dont utilize defense in any way for your Build to deal damage, banish it.
Sage has poor defense and investing in those stats is a waste, unless you aim for a full Tank.

Well I usually went for abilites>movement>tank so maybe that's why I struggled a bit
Agreed, morninstar is very strong but I played it a lot so tried to avoid picking because I like diversifying my runs
