Probably because I was "How are you still functioning?" levels of tired, might have misread things.....I dunno.
I generally just build around projectiles. pick 2 of these, Transfixion, phantom needles, or meteor strike Use mark of archer, and take the attack speed.. Lands main weapon hits like a truck on crit, but i've typically only reached about 50% crit. But they struggle with group clearing, since grenades are on a cooldown now
you can either pump down the Physical road with her Arquebus (Physical, Projectile)
- Weapon Proficiency - Arquebus
- Dedication - Rifleman
- Phantom Needles, Astronomer's Orbs
Or you make her a Grenadier (Magic, Projectile)
- Weapon Proficiency - Grenades
- Dedication - Technican
- Arcane Splinters, Transfixion
If you are confident with Trait Management, she is perfect for using another Class Mark and pick the Proficient Stance Traits, but at the cost of any "Defensive Stats".
Cheers!
My usual approach is similar to this. I start with needles usually, and build around spamming projectiles to trigger more 'nades. So focus on traits like attack speed/frequency/count instead of making each hit harder. I do take the Crit Chance upgrades for the needles as that helps when getting the Phantom Split ugprade, which ultimately translates into extra projectiles/hits.
build for multistrike and atk-spd
Others have already weighed in, but for me I like to take every trait that increases her base attack speed, since her gun hits like a TRUCK. Late into a run, usually I will try to only take projectiles and/or physical damage abilities as well, saving a doubler potion (I can't remember the name, hahaha) to boost the attack speed version of one of the ethereal shift traits.
Now, the interesting part about this is that the game actually loads destructible objects from a fairly long ways away, which the Landsknecht is going to regularly smash due to how far her rifle's projectiles go. This leads into the equipment I use on her, one of which is Warrior's Fervor since you are going to have a lot of random potions laying around as you work your way to all the ability scrolls. I also use the holy blessing ring to help keep the 100% damage + attack speed buff going for as long as possible.
Note however that building this way means that your grenades are going to lose a lot of their 'oomph', though I find the tradeoff to be worth it.
edit: Also of special note is that due to how much Force you can build up for projectiles along with Landsknecht's incredible Crit Bonus growth, the magic explosion upgrade for needles can become quite potent.
