What are the best traits to pick for each ability?
I have finished all my specialist quests so I am not looking for any ability builds that deal with that. I am just simply asking for the best version of trait paths for each ability. A lot of this can "depend" on the situation I understand but I will use Astronomer's Orbs as an example...

When you go with "Speed" and the +1 Orb upgrade each time for Astronomer you basically create a super fast moving circle wall around your character that feels vastly more powerful than anything else you would pick for the other trait paths of this ability. What is the version of that kind of thing for the other abilities because i am definitely missing out on optimizing them to their full potential.

it depends on the Build... ^^

I am lazy and will not type the Paths again, that are IMO the best situational choice in following Builds.

Early game section is done, Advanced section will be increased, but will take some time though. Coverage of almost all Abilites.

For Astronomer's Orbs:

I'd pick the Bodies trait (+1) when not using a Summoner build/character as you can replicate the same effect by increasing their numbers with Spawn/Multistrike stats, without the damage penalties the trait has.

For Speed, there's a cap on how frequently the orbs can hit the same target and focusing strictly on Speed will have some diminishing returns in some scenarios, in the end. For that reason, I'd balance it out with damage/crit stats.

For the rest of abilities, I believe Ulyaoth summarized it pretty well. It depends on what you are building at the moment and synergies. The same ability path, while it can work, not necessary will be the best path for each class/build configuration.

There is no superior trait choice *most* of the time. The "superior" trait, at any given time, depends on everything else you have going on with your build. It is impractical and irresponsible to advise otherwise. I can happily give you trait choices given a set of circumstances, but you have to provide said circumstances. Answering this question would be doing you a disservice.

Even your example of Astro Orbs: Taking 'Roughness' at III, VI and 'Speed' at X are all valid alternatives to 'Bodies'... .. . depending on your circumstances.

Answering this question is a lot like asking someone... "What is the best meal to order at a all the different fast food chains?". Like... how do you answer that? Which store would you go to? They don't all cook it the same. Do you even like what I like? For that matter, what do you like? Do you have allergies? Have I even been to those places to give decent advise? Are they even cooking what I recommend on the night you go (McDonalds icecream machine kek)? etc.

It's an impossible question. Situational context is needed. Give that, and you'll get a high-quality answer almost everytime.
