Is archer supposed to be difficult?

Correction, Archer was the best class in the game and her mark was as strong as she was too. As of a few patches ago and the re-balancing of Tier IV traits and base weapons for everyone but the Sage, she and the sorceress aren't nearly as strong anymore.

It's not you, Archer is in fact weaker than some time ago. To be fair, Swordsman and Warlock got sizable buffs to their main weapons.

without meta progression pretty weak. I could clear the map by finding pendant for areal damage on physical hit and some good skills

anybody that replys with skill issue should just get autobanned from steam for like 2 months to give them time to grow up abit more

Hi,

sounds like you have not that much progression currently,
so the "new" Archer will probably give you a hard time.

Best bet may be to continue on Stage 2 to unlock a bit more stuff and come back later for her.
You dont have to wait for exploring other Stages and you should explore as much as possible and clear Quests, that are reachable for your current progression.
More potential Power will unfold itself this way, which will make your life in general alot easier.

I was blown away on Stage 2. I'll have to grind stage one a bit more before I can take on Stage 2.

I can usually win on stage one with the two characters, just not archer.

You may find a special compass icon in Stage 2, which lead over to the Well Keeper.
If you free him, you will get access to Equipment and will be able to retrieve it.
If you talk to him, you will be directed to a key via compass icon.
Rush for the key, rush back and open the cage. Then you can quit out from the map.

I also believe that the archer is not as strong as she was before. Maybe belongs to the lowest tier now. I dislike the norseman too. I do not hate the Beast Huntress but still not sure what her point is... :D

Archer isn't close to what she was.

Norseman is pretty good, and flamestrike with frost fire upgrade syncs pretty well with his proficiency stances, and really covers up his terrible boss damage

Everyone got their own strength and style. Archer is just as good as the rest.

Every class is over powered. Just level up Meteor Strike to rank 3 and snag Fireball. GG.

I guess I have a lot of grinding to do. I heard something about 20 hours minimum?
