"Specialist" achievements
Holy crap these are frustratingly difficult to obtain.

>Ring Blade
I snagged ring blade in the starting seconds. I sank every upgrade i could get my hands on into that damnable thing, maximizing my attack speed, and the number of projectiles -took ring blade all the way to Agony IV, and by the 30 minute mark My ring blades had traveled a scant 1/3rd the distance that the achievement required. The advice i found on the forum appears to be "Just leave your game running after you win." This feels grotesque and like anti-fun.

>Transfiguration
150,000 status effects applied. Just... No. The game does not work like that. Status effects don't happen often enough, even when shooting in 3 directions with copious multi shot and the highest rate of fire you can manage, the arrows have a low status proc rate, so poor that even upping your force effect multiple times won't get me anywhere close to that number. My transfiguration arrows KILL more often than they apply status.

>Dragon's Breath
seems easy: except things in dragon's breath range tend to just die before the 10k status procs accumulate, due to everything else (like my main weapon and trying to kill them myself)

>Radiant Aura
25,000 damage to a single target. without any fragile status effect. Okay, so, not only does this require you massively overcharge the base damage of the weapon - i'm not actually sure how, since it never seems to do much more than about 6k damage to anything no matter how i upgrade it, but you also have to clear enough space around you during the run to ONLY hit ONE enemy. And you have to do it with no status effects to assist you.

>Golem
Roll for 20 minutes... out of 30. Who do i send this unbridled frustration to? If your golem isn't in a 100% roll state by the 10 minute mark should you just reset? Or is this another "leave the game running overnight" thing?

I'm just venting - they seem poorly conceived or perhaps I've misjudged how to approach these challenges. Yeah, i bet this is all "This specialist thing is to teach you to read the effects of each possible upgrade on your weapons so you use them more effectively".

well nuts to that.

You need to focus on Force/Range. Attack speed helps, yes, but it's nothing compared to the other two.

Using the "Potency" trait (0.33 Base on crit chance) with Reverb Tink makes this trivial. It is possible to apply 3+ stacks of effects, per volley, per projectile. Which means, depending on how many enemies you have to hit, you could apply 100's of stacks every volley, 1000's even.

Use the "Agony" upgrade to remove the damage from DB and turn off your main weapon. This can be completed in a few minutes by letting burn damage kill things.

I routinely do 50-100k hits with Radiant Aura. I'm sure if you stop to think about the available traits you do this. The skill literally starts with 3000 base damage.

If you take the rolling-related traits you can get as much as 60s+ roll time. Coupled with the cooldown reduction (should you wish it as low as 0s) it isn't particularly hard at all. You only need 20mins rolling in a 30min run. Completely achievable. I will give you that this one is particularly boring though.

These achievements unlock "Mastery" upgrades for the respective abilities. The achievements are there to demonstrate you have said mastery. If you can't put a little effort in then it's unreasonable to ask to simply get the rewards. If my answers above are insufficient for you, there are plenty of threads on how to achieve these. You seem to have been unlucky in not seeing them.

EDIT: Literally did 4 (of the most recent) in a single run myself, was going for 5 but i entirely forgot the easiest one: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3137530514

Dragon's Breath is easy, just take the "Fire Stream" upgrade so it changes from a fire wave to a constant stream of fire. Turn off your main attacks. Don't take any other skills until the achievement is complete, so that your level ups will focus on Dragon's Breath solely and enemies won't die too fast. Pick a level that has high-HP enemies (the frozen area is great) Farming fire stacks gets easy then. Upon leveling up just skip all direct damage upgrades and focus on force (burning duration), burn chance, attack speed and multistrike.

Easiest is abusing the ghost wall.. since they don't die you can just take as much burn skills and items you can and with the knockback upgrade I just bunched them up and had it done within 11min of starting.
Since I did that run with attack speed and multistrike aswell i took rings as a second skill and got that done within 25min.

Some of these you have to use your pots on the ability upgrades specifically to complete them, reverb and memories, as making a build for the targeted quest alone isn't enough.

I'm really not fond of the "in one run" achievements. If they were cumulative across all runs with increased requirements, I could at least grind away at them while enjoying the game normally. Requiring they be completed in one run means doing one (maybe two) run dedicated to that achievement and never thinking about it again.

I agree ^ it's just not that fun to do these achievements even if you know how to do them. I don't mind achievements that take a while to complete or you gotta go out of your way to do, but these just are way too tedious and boring.

Can somebody decypher Kugelblitz specialist requirement for me? Does it need to simply apply overcapped electrify 1k times? Or is it something else?

No its just this.
You can use other recources for Stacking up Electrify to +20.
The 21th application needs to come from Kugelblitz.

So if you can manage upkeep on a target (Bosses, Lords, Wraith Wall),
you can do this in no time.

I got this to pop on my first try going for it. Ran Ember Ground with the sorcerer, picked Kugelblitz as my first trait, and lightning strike as my second. Took upgrades related to area, attack speed, or electrify chance (sometimes you get 2 of those traits on the same level, so I picked them both using the potion, and also doubled the attack speeds along the way, i think). Got to a point where I could just stand there as an AFK build, didn't even need to use my normal attack, all the lightning just killed everything; ended with somthing like 37k+ kills.
