Elemental surge and summons

So... the tooltip for elemental surge says that "horde summons" are excluded but when I tried it with demonic and necro ring the minions applied frost?

Also what happens when you choose e.g. fire surge -> frost surge -> increase fire damage? I know the on hit burn still applies from the first surge but after you use another surge is it still considered fire for related traits?

Man I love this game but they really need to bring a compendium or give more info to the wiki.

Hi,

if they didnt changed anything (no patch notes for this), you override the Element and the last taken is the active one. So if you had fire > frost, no fire boni shoud apply.

Not sure about Summon Rings, since those shoud NOT work with ES.
Are you certain they did apply frost?
How looked the rest of your setup.

Maybe a new glitch that happens in combination with other things...
