Archer OP?
No troll here.
i just finished both of lvls with archer with only 2 items(legit played 3 games after i got the game)
is archer just insanly OP?
no way it must be that easy without full loadout

Archer is really easy early on because you can get a very passable build without actually focusing on a build. Once you get more options unlocked and can do runs with more focused builds, she falls in line with the other characters, but as a basic strategy, you can do really well just by taking a bunch of crit effects on all your abilities and passives.

Archer is OP from early til end game. The class never falls off. It's just straight up better than most other classes cause it can off-screen mobs more effectively than any other class. Not that it matters though. It's a singleplayer game after all and despite being OP, the class is also just straight up boring so not worth running.

Archer has more consistency throughout a run than some other classes, but they are all equally valid. You can get similar numbers with all of them through the smart use of traits/abilities. This game is more about trait selection and ability use than it is about items. They're secondary and make a build stronger as opposed to needed to be viable.

Archer can have a slight reduction in power on Stage 3/4, depending on your overall progress. But with the range alone and the flexibility, she stays out the strongest char in the very endgame atm.

and yet the biggest damage numbers i've seen aren't done with archer. ^_^ lol

True, but most enemies dont need to be overkilled with 10k+ crits^^

oh i meant overall dmg done, not just single hits. which is basically equivalent to clear speed.
