I usually build her focusing on her main weapon damage and Crits stats and/or her Hound's damage output rather than going full summoner as I feel it scales better into the late game while full summon becomes unreliable at the end due to inconsistencies with the A.I..
For equipment, you can go either iron/copper/wooden rings if focusing on her main weapon.
Or summoner rings if you find yourself struggling in the beginning of the run.
For her companion, just pick demonic exchange traits that boost it's damage and attack/movement speed and/or Elemental Surge (Ice) if you are buffing your Ice damage or going full summoner.
For the huntress, focus on damage, health, force, attack speed, movement speed, critical damage and chance.
If you need a target removed then stand close to it to prompt the hound to attack it as it is programmed to take down your nearest enemies (it's attacks are AoE). Use it to heart as your companion hits like a train.
In the beginning your hound is the main character and you it's sidekick, in the end you are both equals against the world.
If you get its summon past 100% with curse summon traits (can you get it that high?), do you get a second dog?
Don't think so. The closest we had like that was the first incarnation of Spirit Warrior that did let you spawn multiples making the Twin Spirits Upgrade obsolete but it has been long rectified. So I'm almost certain the dog or any of the summon abilities except Astronomer's Orbs are capped to just 1 of each.
Focused on damage and area, took Arcane Rifts as secondary. I survived 15 minutes and felt a significant lack of damage against bosses and was barely surviving most of the time.
That said I levelled up to 60 in a matter of 15 minutes, while usually I only get there by late game. Will try some of your suggestions, thanks
Yeah, it is meant to be significantly easier now due to the latest Agony change where before it was open heart surgery like difficulty.
Range, multistrike, crits, got orbs and spikes to assits, and still I barely survive and get slaughtered by late game
Summoner
Necromancer's Clutch + Demonic Bond
Astronomer's Orbs, Golem, Spirit Warrior
Just focus on Damage, with the recent changes in Agony, you can probably max out everything.
To beef this even more, use Mark of the Ritual and use Warlock's traits.
Ice
equipment with movement speed
Hailstorm, Atronomer's Orbs with Elemental Surge (Ice), Frost Avalanche
damage + movement speed
keep Hailstrom in the air, as soon as you have one upgrade
there are many more, but those two feel pretty easy
Focus on attack speed and pickup range. Then start with the holy light to keep you alive and focus ring blades primarily and kugelblitz(chain lightning). You can stand still and kill beyond the map. move every once in a while to grab an xp vacuum. I got the 66k kill achievement by standing still for a massive 300% dmg boost from the coat. I can afk most of the maps other than picking upgrades/level bonuses.
Shes is OP tbh. I dont focus on summoner or ice as others have said.. all crit and spear/ring blades, the dogs are great with her mark, but still her piercing throw with massive atk and crit chance one shot all enemies and the bosses melt while she stands still.
