yeah was thinking of that too, the roll attack looks cool but its seems that the normal attack is way better.
maybe if they add a way to increase the size of the golem
Its normal attack is good now. Its roll is, oddly, even worse now.
What I think they should do, is have the roll be like astronomer's orb/set path around the character, but instead of a circle, have the golem spiral out from the main character or spiral in towards the main character at EXTREME speeds in a figure 6. and with upgrades, have it spiral at hilariously ridiculous speed for it to almost be effective. Right now, the roll is so slow, and what is funny is when it approaches an enemy finally, it slows down, and tentatively evades the enemy. I'm just watching as my imps and other summons are doing all the work. as the golem is approaching its very first enemy, and decides to evade it. Unless the screen is filled to the brim with enemies, the golem's roll is just trash. They should make the roll really powerful, and more area, and just a lot more rare for it to roll.
Also half the time the golem just spent catching up before it commits to an attack. Granted I used the golem without the ferrite infusion. I also hugged the ghost wall, and still only got up to 1.5 million. But the golem walk speed needs to be as least as fast as the imp summons. Otherwise other abilities just clear monsters before the golem can get to it.
I used it and made it with 4:14 to spare
yea, I saw the change already. and it still isn't very good.
