Does demonic exchange (speed) affect orbs?
1) ^ +15+ attack speed + 10% movement speed, it sounds more like its ment for golem. Do the orbs benefit at all from attack speed?, e.g. maybe they spin faster?.

2) The description states that movement speed to "me" benefits the orbs. However the trait itself specifies (summons), orbs are classified as summons but the description states that the orbs spin faster based on my own movement speed. From testing it seems orbs neglect base movement speed of a character (super bummed out about this) and only take into account traits (probably am wrong here since im super casual).

3) Same thing for duration traits...it starts to appear with orbs but why?, they have 100% uptime.

So basically does the movement speed and attack speed do anything at all for orbs?, attack speed for orbs doesn't make sense since up time is 100% and movement speed apparently is based character "trait movement speed up".

p.s. side note for others, i figured out that range affects the width/cone of orbs. Cone trait increases balls size. But for garlic skill, cone increases size/its effective range.

Final final note: Honestly as a logic person the game confuses me text wise but i haven't seen a game put this much effort in accurate descriptions and displaying stats etc. in forever, this might be one of few games that i can enjoy without googling and figure out min maxing myself.

just a shoutout to the devs, i bought D4 and HOT on the same day, playing only HOT.

Orbs do scale with Movementspeed.

Even when you learn the Movementspeed Passives for your Hero the Orbs will benefit from it.

The rest does nothing as you noticed.

They dont attack so Attackspeed does nothing. And they dont have Duration so it does nothing. The only summoning stats that count for Orbs are Speed and Damage. And Electricity Damage when you got the Orb Skill. And when you use Beastmaster she gets passive skills that change the element of your Summonings to Fire or Ice and Orbs will scale with the skills for that damage type then.

I dont know however how Beastmasters Elemental Passives will collide with Elemental passives of Summonings. Aka Lava Golems Magma Fists and Electro Orbs.

I forgot to mention that Multihit will increase the amount of Orbs.

It currently doesnt work on Golem.
Electrified Orbs are completly bugged in Beta and doesnt work at all.

Everything @Gilver Redgrave said about Orbs is correct.

Also i just noticed that my information about Beastmaster was wrong. The change of the Elements your Summonings attack with is not exclusive to her. My mistake.

You mean Elemental Surge?
Yes, you can get this on every character.
With this Trait you can use Astronomer's Orbs on all kinds of Elemental builds.
But the Physical damage will be removed, so be carefull while using Echoing Band.

Sad part is that makes Beastmaster even worse then i already believed. I was like " yeah okey she can do that." Now its like: "Beastmaster ? She literally only has 1 skill for her Dog thats all."


Weird that a Beastmaster doesnt do anything with their beasts.

On Weapon Proficiency and Proficient Stance Tier IV she gets Traits for her Dog.
WP Throat Clamp - +0.3 base crit dmg
PS Wild Hound - +50% Area, +0.6 base as, -150 base dmg

Problem with the Hound, his attack range is way to short.
But if you pick Elemental Surge (Ice) you can beef him with
WP Frost Bite for 75% Ice Damage
PS Blizzard for 60% Frost Chance

This is also great for Astronomer's Orbs

Yeah i know she gets that but as said before for a "beastmaster" she really hasnt enough "Beast" in her kit. Warlock does literally everything better then she does. With the Frost Ring he high likely even does Frost better then her.

Yeah I said it in the Beta Feddback, IMO in her current state she is the second worst char after Cleric.
Very underperforming, when utilizing her Synergy with Frost/Summon/Crit, compared to other chars.
