3 mil Frost Avalanche achievement

I've tried about 6 runs and never even got close. The direct damage on this spell scales horribly and the Frost status effect doesn't count for the spell's damage.

I have no idea how i managed to do 2m8 damage on my first run with when i played cleric, now every time i have at maximum 1m. This spell looks cool but damage are pretty weird atm.

The problem with Dex's video is that he made it on a test build. It's a bad idea to do these kinds of videos on test builds, because the devs will notice if things are too easy, and they will change stuff. For example, the way the frost ripples now behave, on the release build. The pattern is completely different and makes this build kinda useless. Not to mention that you get extra waves options only after you get the 3 mil quest. Best way is to go to Viaduct and hit the wall of wraiths, using the Cleric. Hard to kill and they will endure the damage.

One other way to do it could be using Avalanche and Rifts with the upgrade that makes them detonate on touching enemies. Spawning rifts all over onto enemies affected by frost will cause massive detonations.

As usual with low base damage abilities, grab an Iron Ring, head to the 3rd map, sit by the ghost wall, take only ability damage/speed/amount level ups, use memory and duplication potions on lvl 3/6/9/10 abilities.

Hi,

since you are talking specific about Frost Avalanche 3mil damage, I assume you have completed 750k + 1.5m.

Stage 1-3 Agony -> Stage 3 may be the easiest.

x2 = Double Potion (x3 / x4 with Class Mark: Arrow)
X+X = Memory Potion (x3)

if you have Char Marks unlocked: Arrow ->
Archer Weapon Proficiency IV Pierce (+ IV Ice)
Archer Proficient Stance IV Pinpoint

Wind Crown
Hunting Gloves
Wooden Ring + Copper Ring

Weapon Proficiency - Ice I-IV -> IV Ice x2
Proficient Stance - free choice
Dedication - free choice

Frost Avalanche
I - Force
II - Impact + Frequence
III - Impact -> Upgrade Debris Avalanche
IV - Frequence
V - Impact
VI - Impact + Frequence
VII - Force
VIII - Impact + Frequence
IX - Impact x2
X - Frequence x2

Focus on:
Attack Speed > Damage > Crit > Crit Damage > Frost Affinity > Multihit > Piercing Wind > Area
rest is optional

I have noticed that the Ghost Wall now has massive damage reduction, I'd say around 90% by my estimate. It's pretty useless to try and farm it now.

It's still a permanent pack of mobs that you can hit until the end of the map.

how are you all playing the game? for me its completely broken and doesn't work

No idea, mine is working flawlessly at the moment. And since the very first incident with updates I tend to not launch the game right away and instead wait around 7 hours to play in order to make sure nothing broke during the update and people are running around like headless chicken.

Another thing to consider if somehow the game files have been tampered in any way but for the most amount of people that's probably not the case.

Lastly, what you mean by completely broken? What are the symptoms you are experiencing?
