so you can pick any you unlock on any char
which will open up a hole bunch of new build options
You can select unlocked traits just above the gloves slot in chest.
E.g. if you're going burn build on Archer, you can pick up Exterminator mark, and get a +15% burn chance on main weapon attack, plus be able to pick up Exterminator proficiency stance/dedication/weapon proficiency traits which boosts burn and fire damage.
The list of each class traits can be looked up on wiki: https://hot.fandom.com/wiki/Playable_Characters
They're much more annoying than you'd think since you also get their Traits as mentioned... and oh boy some characters (Archer) have really bad Traits.

Also powerful Hybrid Builds became very viable.
But it needs planning and carefull thinking when picking what and what to lock with Memory Potions.
Also where to use Banish Potions.
You can end up with encoumbering your trait pool and get bad rng.
So you can play an Exterminator with Sorceress' Mark, use his Fire Traits and pair them with Sorceress' Lightning Traits.
