Thanks!
Before people say git gud, 92 isn't even close to 100 and the fact that I've completed every other challenge really means this is a balance issue.
Play on the bridge map.
Never stop moving. Enemies should die before you touch them, always.
Save the vacuum gloves for the end of the run, unless you see more than one.
Use Jade Necklace.
Get weapon evolutions instead of more weapons. Evolutions unlock on skill upgrade lvl 3 and then on lvl 6.
There are 9 skill banners on the bridge map which means 3 fully evolved weapons.
Best weapons I would say are ring blades and Transfixion. Third doesn't really matter as long as it's a long ranged weapon like lightning.
Your goals are lvl 50 by 20 minutes, lvl 80 by 10 minutes, and then lvl 100 by 0 minutes.
Your kill count should be around 18000
What you want to do is save 1 special skill for each rank (I,II.III) any type, they are the ones who give like +20% damage 50% range, because there are always 2 of them but if you do not save it you can chose only 1 .
Actually for Cleric you do not need to save the one which gives 50% range and other thing as its counterpart is not worth picking at all, but you need to do it for other ones.
Use double stats potion on 50% range and something ability , 0.4 attack frequency and 166 or something base damage. That is about it .
It is not balance issue I have hit 113 with Cleric.
Currently it is possible on every class, so it is a skill issue.
The way I overcame a few that I also thought were impossible was to 1) spec into the ring blades, 2) prioritize attack speed (you will be over-killing mobs, so attack speed is the best way to max the # of enemies/exp you get), and 3) DON'T move much until between waves (literally, do not pursue the golden tickets on screen, or any other pickup indicator on the map). Between waves, you should quickly pick up your loot (which should be stacked in a small circle around you).
One last tip, since you will be doing this on the 3rd map, do the entire fight about a screen away from the magnet that is already showing on the map (bottom right of spawn), and use it once the final boss spawns.
Pick the starting ability scroll, try to aim for Transfixion.
Move a few steps to the north east and stop at the long crack, that goes through the whole bridge. Stand your ground there. Leave the Greedy Hand until you hit 00:00
At 2.00+ the first elite will spawn, pick this scroll up, when you have Transfixion at Tier III.
Ring Blades > Arcane Splinters = Phantom Needles > Lightning Strike > Kugelblitz > Meteor Strike
If none of those show up, pick Transfixion Upgrade.
When you reach the point, where you can stand in the middle of the bridge, only collect xp, when the round is near to end between XX:10 - XX:50.
Equipment
Hunter's Garb - Hunting Gloves - Wind Crown - Jade Amulett - Iron Ring - Guiding Star
X + X = Memory Potion
x2 = Double Potion
Transfixion
I Spread - II Cadence + Spread - III Deadliness x2 - IV Spread - V Cadence + Spread -
VI Spread + Deadliness x2 - VII Spread - VIII Cadence + Spread - IX Cadence -
X Spread + Deadliness
With this alone you have an insane powerful setup for one ability at hand, that can keep yor screen clear, no matter wich character you pick.
Only focus on one 2nd ability, upgrade Transfixion after III and VI, then the 2nd.
After Transfixion and 2nd is fully upgraded, you can pick a 3d.
Ring Blades
Strong - Big - Big - Fast - Big - Big - Strong - Big - Big - Strong
Arcane Splinters
Focus - Charging - Split - Charging - Focus - Split - Focus - Charging - Focus - Split
Phantom Needles
Firerate - Puncture - Power - Puncture - Firerate - Puncture - Firerate - Puncture - Sharpness - Puncture
Lightning Strike
Intensity - Conversion - Capacity - Charges - Conversion - Capacity - Intensity - Conversion - Conversion - Capacity
Kugelblitz
Capacity - Current - Current - Capacity - Current - Current - Capacity - Current - Current - Capacity
Meteor Strike
Frequency - Blast - Frequency - Blast - Frequency - Impact - Frequency - Blast - Frequency - Blast
Hope this will help,
Cheers!
I'd say that it pretty much only being possible on the 3rd map right now is also a pretty big issue. Though the upcoming agony mode also seems to scale experience, so that should make it possible on all of the maps.
And level 100 with a kill count around 18K? Dude, not sure how you're doing that. I'm hitting like 25K+ at least to reach that level.
E- For what it's worth, I 100% all quests before potions were even a thing, so it's probably significantly easier to hit 100 on any character as well, now.
possible on stage 3 without jade
Jade necklace + the green gargoyles at the end give a ton of exp on kill
Maybe with proper optimization. But I still only made it to level 98 the last time I played the map, with more than 99% bonus experience from the achievement and an additional 50% experience from the necklace on top of that. I did some decent amount of walking early on, but I spent about 80% of the time standing still after that, just waiting for experience to pile up so they form stacks and give extra experience.
So while it's technically 'possible', the amount of optimization and initial requirements just don't make it a viable method for people who have yet to do the level 100 achievements. Though honestly, even on the 3rd level it's very hard without the experience necklace.
Well, the game's still early access. I'd say it would have been a major flaw if it was a full game, but quite a few is still going to get added and changed. And it looks like they're already working on fixing this issue.
No, this used to be a myth I believed myself...
So out of Curiosity, i asked the devs:
