Unlocking new items

After unlocking a new item, how do get it? At the moment, I'm trying to get the Wind Crown. I've already unlocked it but was unable to retrieved it because I already used it earlier during that run. Since then, I have not seen the Wind Crown dropped again. Do I have to be on the archer for it to drop again and does it only dropped on the first level?

it can drop from every boss chest around all 3 maps.

But does it helps uf ure with the character that owns the tree that unlocked it, or any charcter has the same chance?

Thank you. The crown finally dropped for me. I was running the first stage on Cleric when it dropped.

once an item has been unlocked, its added to the pool, its pure rng what you get. It's why its very, VERY important to retrieve any useful meta items you pickup, sacrificing the run is a worthwhile trade.

No it doesnt matter.
But as long as you didnt unlocked every possible drop, your chances are way better.
