How do you play coop?

As title says, how do you start coop? I'm spamming all my buttons on my controller, yet nothing happens.

for remote play you cant do keyboard/mouse and gamepad? It HAS to be 2 gamepads?

Good Job, nice game BUT :
We buy the game with a friend (each of us), and have no gamepads.
So we can't play together.
Can you make it possible for 2 keyboards to play together please ?
