A wave should not skip to the next one after reaching a threshold of kills. It should end when the designed enemies for said wave have all passed. There should be 2 currency: 1 that carries over and 1 that does not. It is to incentive player to spend on their towers and create the fun action/bullet hell action. The current method encourage players to "save" their quartz and only use it on upgrades and bosses. I've been going on the one run for about 40 minutes now, I don't know if there is an end to the run; I like what I'm playing but there doesn't yet seem to be any challenge. There also doesn't seem to be any reason to put down turrets other than 'because I can' but outside of the first 2 stages where I tried it for novelty, i have done the rest of the run with just the guy by himself.
