How many players can play at the same time? Is this like Trine? where I can play with both my kids, inclusing me? Can three play on same screen?

Looks like local co-op is supported.

The store page reads: "Let’s work together – Switch between the 3 characters, in cooperation with each other, and solve physical and adventure puzzles as you learn the truth behind why they are here. Share the cave exploring adventure with friends in local co-op."

I've never tried it and from a video I watched, it doesn't seem like the best local co-op. Since the two people have to stick close to one another, instead of a split screen. Looks like 3 can play, but you'll probably need controllers. the game says three. I've played with two, it's ok would be better split but doesn't need to be. Controls are good because you can swap to any character at any time from any controller.

I played with my kids. Three players can play (we played with two controllers and keyboard). If kids find some part difficult, you can take over their character and play with your controller and then give control back to them. The camera only follows one player, but it's easy to switch. It's done very well.
