Multiplayer bug
Hi guys,

I've played multiplayer mode several times, but now I have a bug that makes it impossible to play. The second player's top half guitar's texture and strings are invisible. In the tuner, but also in the game. I've tried to reinstall the game, to look for corrupted local files,... Nothing's working. Any idea anyone ?

Hey DieNah,

Thanks for reaching out and reporting this!

May we please know what the specs of the PC you're using are (GPU, CPU, RAM, OS, Laptop / Desktop)?

And would you be able to share any screenshot examples of this too?

Much appreciated!

Same problem

Thanks for reaching out too ⒶⓉⓂ.

May we please also know your specs as above?

And have you attempted any troubleshooting steps such as those in our guide[ubi.li] or verifying the game's files[ubi.li]?

i7 11th gen, gtx 1080ti, 32gb ram, windows 10, 1440P, 2 realtonecables connected (1 guitar, 1 bassguitar)

Player 1 tune and notes are visible
Player 2 only has blurry colours during tuning at the head of the guitar,
Notes aren't visible, but when you hold a note the coloured line is blurry visible.
And the snare you have to play is blurry visible, like in the screenshot.

Could you please confirm if you've completed the steps I linked too?

Hello ATM, thank you for letting us know you have tried the steps suggested by Ubi-TheBerry.

This question was also recently asked on the Rocksmith Reddit, a user who used to help out on this forum called ToyMachine, also suggested some changes you can make to your in-game display/graphic options that may enable you to show player 2 in splitscreen, in this Reddit post here >

Hey,

Thanks for sharing what has fixed it for you. @DieNah can you check to see if either you or your friend has opted in to Steam beta versions too and see if disabling that resolves it for you too?

Hi All,
I was having this problem for about 3 weeks. Changing from "Non-Exclusive Fullscreen" to exclusive full screen fixed it.
Ubi Milky  [developer] Nov 17, 2022 @ 7:19am
Hello mistadabolina, thank you very much for sharing this with us, I am happy to see there are at least 3 workarounds now that may help players with the player two's frets and notes not displaying correctly.

@DieNah please let us know if you have been able to try this recent workaround provided by mistadabolina, Reddit, or the 'JustInCaseWeNeedIt' beta code that you can enter in the games Steam Properties to roll back the version of the game

> Unable to see the second player in multiplayer? Turn off Post Effects in your display settings in game. This effect mixed with Non-Exclusive Fullscreen and a resolution lower than your monitor's default resolution causes the camera to be too zoomed in.

It's helped me. Just switch to exclusive fullscreen. (or change any option and try restart the game)
